04 Nights Shillong With Cherrapunjee and Myallynnong
Day 01: Arrive Guwahati – Shillong (110 km 3 hrs approx..)
Transfer from Guwahati airport/railway station to Shillong en route visit Umium Lake.
Located in undulating pine-covered hills and home to several waterfalls, Shillong is loved by tourists.
Overnight at Shillong.
Day 02: Shillong – Cherrapunjee – Shillong (60 km 2 hrs each way)
Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Cherrapunjee.
The wettest place on the planet earth and the only place in India to receive rain throughout the year will leave you with some great memories to cherish.
Visit Arwah Cave, Nahkhalikai Falls, Mwasmai Cave, Seven Sister Falls, Dainthlen Waterfalls and Eco Park, and Rama Krishna Mission Museum.
Drive back to Shillong.
Day 03: Shillong
Breakfast at the hotel and proceed for a full day sightseeing of Shillong.
Shillong: Pay a visit to Shillong - Surrounded by Khasi hills, the gorgeous city offers miraculous tourist spots. Proceed by paying a visit to Ward's Lake, Don Bosco Center for Indigenous Cultures, Lady Hydari Park, Mini Zoo, 18 hole Golf Course, and The State Museum, Elephant falls, and Shillong Peak.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Shillong – Dawki & Mawlynnong – Shillong (90 km 3 hrs each way)
Post breakfast drive from Shillong to Dawki(Indo-Bangladesh Border) and Myallynnong Village.
Morning drive to Dawki, visit Indo-Bangladesh border and Umngot River (one can enjoy a country boat ride here on a direct payment basis).
Later on, proceed to the Mwallynnong village located in the East Khasi Hills of Meghalaya, also referred to as ‘God’s own garden’ which has a heart-stop natural beauty.
Day 05: Shillong – Guwahati (airport/station)
After breakfast drive from Shillong to Guwahati in time for onward connection
